Something I’ve noticed as I peruse the endless link corridors of the internet are the number of articles written by “reputable” outlets that needn’t be written or are half baked.  I think this is a side-effect of too many writers, not enough editors.  Or at least something close in proximity to that.

Deadlines, deadlines are a big factor as well. It would appear that too many outlets think more of quantity of content over quality of content. Get those buzz-words out there; tag it, tweet it, friend it, f*ck it. Get those eyes on those ads.

Let the stories simmer a bit ladies and gentlemen. If it’s not breaking news just relax. Odds are it’s not world changing either.

Don’t get me wrong though. I’m not for limiting peoples ability to get on the big connection and getting stuff off their minds or chests… That’s what I’m doing right now. No editors…
