“Another Hollow OnLine Experience”

A. Garrett Lisi, a part time Hawaii and Nevada resident, has possibly discovered an interesting link between sub-atomic composition and the enigmatic E8 geometric structure. His work shows that E8 appears to be a periodic table of sub-atomic particles. It’s beauty is in it’s simplicity. The only real question I have is does this structure detail the mechanics or is it a reflection of the mechanics of the sub-atomic. At the very least if it is only a reflection it appears to be an excellent tool to describe and quantify.

side note*

My own theory has taken a back seat in my life after discovering that the concepts had been proposed as early as 1690. All arguments against it have more or less been disproved over time as our understanding of our universe has grown. Never-the-less it became clear to me that, to give it anymore serious time would be a waste. I will say that the above proposal does have room for a theoretical HoG particle, but like the theory of gravity, works fine without it. That’s the problem of reflection I guess. Again though, Mr. Lisi’s proposal is very exciting and I hope much comes from it.
