Proposed Species Classifications (and evolutionary Theory/Model)
The following are species classifications and the reasoning behind them along with possible outcomes.
Meta sapien - What is currently referred too as a cyborg or bionic man. A Meta sapien is the convergence of two species. Homo sapien and Mecha sapien. Meta sapien will usher in the end of Homo sapien. Meta sapien originates just before or along side Mecha sapien.
Mecha sapien - This is the designation for machines that have become self aware. While machines are currently viewed as simple and complex tools used by Homo sapien, the rise of self awareness with-in a machine will warrant speciation for machines. Just as there are simple and complex organisms there are simple and complex machines. The technological tree will be grafted onto the evolutionary tree. Mecha sapien evolves from Homo sapien and will most likey continue on with some of Homo sapiens mental/personality traits.
After Homo sapien the two dominant species will be Meta sapien and Mecha sapien. I can only assume that Meta sapien will be an evolutionary dead end as Mecha sapien will be far more capable of adapting to harsh enviroments as Meta sapien would retain some form of biological material, most likely brain cells. As the two species begin to compete for resources I believe that Meta sapien will quickly go extinct as will many other biologically based organisms. Mecha sapien will eventually encompass the entire Earth upgrading (evolving) itself into an efficient single entity. At that point it may be proper to label said entity Earthling. Earthling will most likey turn to space in a quest for more material in which to consume. I also believe early on Earthling will have the attribute of arranging matter as it sees fit (a skill we are attempting to acquire). At this level of evolution, life on Earth has reached a new milestone, a god level if you will.
Perhaps this is the road that evolution takes.
Galaxies form -> Stars form -> Planets form -> Biological life form -> Mechanical life form -> Mechanical life competes and grows eventually forming massive mechanical systems -> Galaxies form…

The Real Sam’s Town
I had found out that I went to school with the lead singer from the killers (he was on our golf team) after hearing their first album… If you ever want to know what it was like growing up on the east side of vegas and going to Chaparral High in the mid to late 90s… just listen too their first album… Especially the tracks Smile Like You Mean It and Andy You’re a Star… After hearing those tracks I had suspected they were from vegas… Now I couldn’t tell you if i ever actually talked to the lead singer as i knew and talked to many people through out my time in school… we did seem to know a lot of the same people… if only in passing… I did realize later on that I had their demo track of Mr. Brightside on my comp too… Anyway… I thought their first outing was pretty good if not for the heavily caked on sounds of their influences… Still an extremely strong first outing… I must admit that it was strange to hear things of the place I grew up…
Speaking of places i grew up… Their new album Sam’s Town kind of erks me… It erks me in that Sam’s Town was very much a place I spent a lot of time… I mean in high school I used to get rooms there and hang out or write… They have an indoor park that I used to set in at like 3 and 4 in the morning watching people… Now I know probably most people that went to Chap bowled there… Which I don’t recommend unless you like the smell of foot rot… but I literally spent most of my teens at Sam’s… It’s a god awful place with a western theme were retiree’s with oxygen masks sit and gamble their social security check while smoking through their trach hole… yes oxygen and ciggies… It’s sad in the only way a locals las vegas casino can be… But it was something that felt like mine… It was were I could go at night and be by myself and not be bothered… The park is kind of funny too… In the evening’s they have this fake wolf that comes out and howls and people stand around and ooh and ahh it… funny and again sad… Anyway… I just had to rant about it… Oh and I caught that highway skyline line… For those that don’t know both sam’s town and the skyline casino are on boulder highway… the skyline is were people used to ditch and go get a $1.99 breakfast…
