Destroy 2000 Years of Culture…

Been away… Had a great Easter… spent it with a significant person and her family… guess someone has left some comments… I’ll aggregate them here in this post and respond…. Ok… let’s see…

In reference to the Dime Fetus Pic
hahahahah.. that’s one of the funniest pictures i’ve seen for a while now.. good one man, nice find.

I have more… I thought it was funny too… Something along the lines of dichotomy… dichotomy… hypocrisy? Ah whatever. At any rate that’s definitely a kid who knows what he wants… Hey brother, can you spare a..?

In reference to Saul Williams
seems like this guy was more the highlight of the evening at your nin concert than the main event of nin itself… although he seems to take on the same stance as rage against the machine used to.. before they broke up.. which may be one of the reasons the lead singer from RATM would make a cameo on one of his songs. Makes me wonder once again why RATM broke up in the first place.. But that could probably be put in the domain of why pink floyd broke up in the first place.. which supposedly would be the money factor when put up against the message factor. The same reason Roger Waters continues to make interesting messages on every album since he left the band.. and all pink floyd can do without him is make substandard, mediocre guitar solos ala david gilmour, who apparently believes that his music delivered the message of pink floyd, for the most part. And certainly the words had nothing to do with it.. because nasty things like words.. get in the way of his absolute expertise in guitar playing.. which of couse can be proven without a doubt ala Guitarist Magazine which apparently stated according to Wikipedia:
“Recently, David Gilmour was voted the greatest Fender guitar player of all time by readers of Guitarist Magazine, beating Jimi Hendrix. He was also voted #82 on Rolling Stone Magazine’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.” and Comfortably Numb’s solo notably ranked #4 on Guitar World magazine’s “100 Greatest Guitar Solos.”
Of course the fact that he was 82nd best guitar player ever, according to a Rolling Stone poll, could point out that he might not have been as innovative as many idotic floyd fans would like you to believe….
imagine….. Gilmour…. better than Hendrix.. I laugh..
I’m proud to announce that I’ve never bought Guitarist Magazine nor read any of it.. besides some excerpts… but if excerpts like that can give one a slight clue as to how the editors of said magazine value music.. then i think it’s a safe bet not to invest in their name. Sorry to have gotten off the point a little bit.. but.. I agree.. this Saul Williams guy is certainly talented and thinking in the right direction.. even if leaning a little to the “left”.

I had already seen NIN three times before…so… I think it’s understandable that I was a bit more jazzed about seeing Saul… Nice to see the screen again though… RAtM was good but their stuff started sounding all the same towards the end… no real growth… good live though… I always thought it was pretty funny that Rage’s audience was mostly white suburban kids… Rollin’ down rodeo indeed… As for Roger Waters (great live too) and pink floyd… I’ll stick with substance over fashion any day. “You hit the target and win the game from bars 3,000 miles away” Gilmour better than Hendrix… That is a laugh… I don’t read segmented populace mags either…

In reference to John Vanderslice
gay, self indulgent, weak.. that’s my first response to this song.. after hearing it once. That may change with further review. However, it’s weakness reminds me of modest mouse.. and all other emo music. The message may be good, but the execuction of it is lacking. Somewhat strange rhythms mixed with a monotone, whiny melody.. a little bit like what radiohead does.. but i don’t know if that’s the kind of message that gets through to anyone.. the dissassociative approach. It is a bit more subtle, but perhaps more misleading at the same time. I tend to believe that if one attracts a passionate following, then the powers that exist are more frightened by what is said. Only natural for them I suppose. Considering if passion is ignited within the mob.. the mob might change things that would better themselves along with humanity… rather than allow changes that let the ‘elite’ gain further control. If one appeals to the ever-increasing number of dissassociated individuals, what response will be received? What will those who receive disconnected responses to the world as they see it, DO, about the situations they are being presented? As far as I’ve seen.. nothing. As far as I’ve seen… those who speak truth and demand that something must be done, either directly or indirectly,… if they are heard.. must be eliminated. In music.. this is plainly seen.. anyone who questions the controls displayed before them.. let alone given a pracital response to it… are dead…. well.. only if they gained a following in doing so… those who gave up before they made an impact.. or were “taken out” are not really known to me.. but anyways…
Lets take a look at the ‘hit list’….:
john lennon
bob marley
brad nowell
kurdt cobain
jim morrison
frank zappa
and don’t forget the list of those who changed the message or the manner in which it was presented.. or just quit what they were doing altogether..
bob dylan
talking heads
pink floyd
nin
marilyn manson
the pixies
david bowie
velvet underground
I know it’s nothing of a complete list of bands..but i admit i’m no expert… i’m sure there’s more, i’m not the best at investigating this sort of thing, but that’s what comes to mind at the moment.. please correct me if i’m wrong.. or if there is anything else to add…. any discussion would be appreciated..
I have many questions… and for each answer i am presented with, even more questions result… but oh well… at least if some questions can be answered.. I can be gifted with more answers to seek. -pistprofit

Comparing Radiohead and bands like them to bands like RAtM is like comparing apples to oranges. (forgive me that old adage) Radiohead and bands like them have a completely different force behind them than bands like Rage and Atari Teenage Riot… The latter are driven by political statement while the former are driven by the art of music itself… Bands like Radiohead simply filter the world around them and focus it into their art… they make the art framed by feelings and thoughts, ars gratia artis (Pablo Honey, The Bends?). Rage and bands like them make statements and frame it with an art form (RAtM, Evil Empire?). Of course bands that are more passionate such as Atari Teenage Riot, progenators of riotcore, are going get more response… it’s their sole purpose…

HAHA now wait… Are you saying that Curt Cobain, Brad Nowell, and the others were murdered by the/a State? Or was it Holden? Kurt was killed by the government… that makes perfect sense… He did claim to not have a gun… how could he possibly have done it? Brad Nowell… I guess the CIA came and OD’d him… CIA is good… They did it before he was even famous… Marley? Damn CIA gave him skin cancer didn’t they…bastards… Zappa… CIA gave him prostate cancer… Probably tested it on Reagan’s colon… No way it could have been the fact that Zappa had an admittedly poor diet… Morrison… I’m sure Inspector Clouseau was at fault and France and the US couldn’t let the public know for fear of an uprising… Lennon… maybe… All those damn Manchurian candidates running around… Holden? Was that you?.. What are we gonna do with you… They must have liked MC5 then… Ok, ok… I’m being a little dramatic here but c’mon… If the “Government” can do these things then forget it… Games over man! Games over!…

In reference to excerpts from the Constitution
It seems these little excerpts from the “Constitution” do nothing more than reinforce the ideals set forth upon all of us at the present moment. As if the ‘government’ has any power to dismantle any ‘insurrection’ or ‘revolution’ and put into place any power it deems fit for it’s own productivity for themselves. Those in power being much more powerful than you.. the average idiot human-being who might have joined in something silly as a militia. Who are the ONLY people whom are supposed to have access to firearms if one is reading from the “Constitution”, by the way? ‘We’ have become so disenfranchised from those who are supposedly supposed to ‘lead’ us that we don’t even notice the difference between an allegedy real threat like the nazis way back in the 1940’s and earlier..not that they were threating us at any time… but their allies “instigated” all of it… even though Pearl Habour could have been prevented….. let alone the simple fact that we gave most of the Nazi scientists asylum from their institutions…… I digress… from the simple ideals that Iraqis were trying to follow before we invaded them. Which although most certainly were not “right on”.. not like any of those in ‘America’ are “right on”. Their culture is based on an entirely different “Bible”.. it’s called…. drumroll please….. the “Koran.” Which most of ‘Islam’ interprets incorrectly the same way most ‘Christians’ misinterpret the ‘Bible’. We went from protecting America the Greatest Land of all Lands, to imposing ‘American’ ideas that have nothing much to do with what they have been doing in the Middle East. And it is pretty difficult to understand what goes on in the ‘Middle East’. Well, not really difficult if you understand what is behind it all… but…. Despite what you think… they are most certainly not united.. the “Middle East” that is… Some of them follow Sunni.. some Shiite…. and some of the lesser known are Sufi… Much like Christianity…. there are many different kinds of Cathoics… many Protestants…. and the occasional Gnostics…I’d say look up the Gnostics if you have the time… or especially if you have any devotion to the messages Jesus Mr. Christ spoke of……..
But anyways…..
The context i guess, in recent times, for it all was the big ol ’shock and awe’ 9/11. ‘America’ didn’t ‘like’ what ‘Islam’ was doing or what it was about to become. To say ‘Islam” wants to destroy us because they think we’re so evil…. is wrong. That is believing that a few “fundumentalists” represent the whole. That’s like saying Pat Robertson represents all of America… which he absolutely DOES NOT! I always find a lot of unconcrollable laughter when I think of the idea that ‘Rev. Sun Mynung Moon (ie… the MOONIES.. the mindcontrolled idiots in airports with shaved heads and pamphlets and flowers..hahahahhahaha)….OWNS… the Washington Post… and he is friends with…. Mr. President George W. Bush…… please excuse me while I laugh for the next hour…….
hehehehehehehehehe.. but anyways….some of ‘Islam’ would have you think that ‘America’ is the home of Satan. Likewise many so-called ‘Christans’ would like you to believe the same thing about ‘Islam’. ‘ISLAM’ circumsizes women! Women have to wear masks! Can’t show their ankles!…. You’ll get your hands chopped off for stealing from a company that rips the public off ‘FIVE KEYSTONE’ from the wholesaler they’re buying from!!! The point I make is.. if you’ve been in capitalism and sold anything…. you’ll know how capitalism steals legally.. and the whole ideal of capitalism is theft from the poor. No God Loving race-institution-religion-sect-cult would ever.. raise a ruckus, effort, WAR…to deny the truth from humanity… Only a God -Fearing-You’d better do as I say or I’ll fucking kill you…. would ever… EVER… do such a thing……. A united ‘middle east’ is certainly a real problem when trying to get everyone involved in a one world government, religion, economy… notice I didn’t say language… !!!because if everyone in the world could speak the same language..they would be united in a most horrible thing..– being able to communicate to one another and share their thoughts..– which are most likely the same.. the united thoughts that there’s bullshit going on and it needs to stop..
They got the guns… we got the numbers phenomenom.

eh.. so it’s a what the fuckin hell type of deal…

blah blah blah… it’s the same reason I use so-called swear words in the first place…I see no harm in saying fuck every other word… especially “saying god’s name in vain” hahahhhahahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahalll………………………
the world is obsene…. why not use appropriate words/language/music to describe it……….
I say… lets disagree and discuss….. make it better.. hey… lets be scientists! - pistprofit

The excerpts express some of the limited powers that the Federal government was supposed to have. I agree the Feds have taken more control than they are meant too. The power belongs to the States. Remember, the States are the true powers of this Union. They handed over some powers to a Federal Government for the good of the States. The powers were mainly to grease the commerce between the States and to create a United force to protect the States from outside invasion. Hence the Posse Comitatus Act, a law that disallows the use of the United States Military as a police force.

When discussing the militia thing it’s important to remember the context in which the Constitution was written. I highly doubt the framers who were fearful of a powerful government would say that the only gun owners in the Union could be those in service to the Union.

HAHA National Socialist Germany not threatening us at anytime. What about declaring war on the United States on December 11th . Ordering the U-boats to attack all US ships in the Atlantic and Caribbean? Not to mention the fact that they were allied with Japan who attacked the US on December 7th the same year. We declared war on Japan Dec 8th then following Italy’s and Germany’s Declaration of war on the US we declared war on them.

Scientists were given asylum because an “iron curtain” fell across Europe. A cold war began and like land, gold, and women in much earlier times, Scientists were the spoils of war that we required to face a growing Totalitarian Communist threat around the world.

Iraq was attacked legally based upon Iraq’s action in the 90’s along with intelligence from all major Nations.

Intelligence shows (with sat photos) that Russian Special forces helped move illegal weapon systems to Syria among other places.

Another point is that Iraq is/was a strategy play. It gives us an excellent base of operations against Iran and the other nations in the Middle East. Iran along with Al Qeada are backed by Russia and more notably China. They have and are using them and others to attack us on all fronts. These are the reasons we have done what we have. It’s a cat and mouse game. Would you prefer an initial attack on China and Russia instead? A war with Russia and China would require massive amounts of energy… like oil. Russia is the 2nd largest supplier of oil in the world. We can’t allow them to cut us off. A war with them is coming and not because we want it. There is always more than what the news shows… Did you know in the first gulf war CNN broadcast Marines arriving (film and all) on a beach that they never even touched? In a global war on a planet that has global communication complete transparency is not possible.

Gnostic… Once upon a time I was… long long ago…

Destroy Islam? Some people may want that but obviously our government doesn’t… otherwise why do we not carpet bomb them and flatten their cities… Daisy Cutters anyone? Remember our government doesn’t care what you believe as long as you don’t hurt others. On a personal note: I really don’t care either…

Capitalism, is merely an economic engine that in order to succeed, one must be innovative. True not all people are made equal, some are more intelligent, creative, stronger, healthier, etc than others. Economies however should not concern themselves with well being, people should. Economies are tools that enable a community to be successful or to be failures. A Society is made of three parts, Identity, Economy, and style of Governance. Some work better than others… View history for examples…

Language. In a world of hydrogen bombs, weaponized biology, and chemicals, whispers in the dark are the least of a nefarious Governments worries…

The world’s not obscene… just others tastes…

“…and I forget just why I taste… oh yeah… I guess it makes me smile… I found it hard… It’s hard to find… oh well, whatever, nevermind…”
